Class ChangeFieldTypeRequest

Acknowledges that the requested conversion will lose data and authorizes it to proceed. Required (must be true) when any of the following hold: leaving the List type (clears list items); the field has a non-empty constraint, a defaultValue, or any assigned entries, AND the conversion is not one of the explicit safe widenings (Date → DateTime, ShortInteger → LongInteger, ShortInteger → Number, LongInteger → Number). A lossy conversion without this flag returns 400 (data_loss_expected). Lossless conversions ignore this flag.

The target field type. Required. Changing type can reset type-specific configuration (length, constraint, format), clear list items when leaving the List type, and clear a default value that cannot be reinterpreted in the new type.
